Think of the Artifacts Gallery as the central library for everything you create in Lino. Every card, image, link, sketch, and table you make lives safely inside it. It is the single source of truth — canvases are just stages where your artifacts perform.

Why it matters

• Reuse anywhere — drag the same card onto multiple canvases. Edit it once, and it updates everywhere.
• Quick search — find any past asset from the sidebar and drag it back onto a canvas instantly.

Remove vs. Delete

This distinction matters:

• Remove — takes the artifact off this canvas, but it stays safe in your gallery.
• Delete — erases the artifact forever, everywhere.

So removing something from a canvas never loses your work — it just clears the stage.
