- Schedule: a new panel for everything that's due. Tasks from your Cards and Tables in one list, grouped by day, person or where they live, with status rings, assignees, and a This chat view.
- Calendar: your Mac and iCloud calendars in Day, Week and Month views. Create, edit and reply to events, drag them across days, and Shift/⌘-select several to move together. Repeating events ask which occurrences to change.
- Reminders: a task with a time notifies you when it's due, with Done and Tomorrow buttons, and Start on Lino AI's own tasks. An optional daily summary lists what's due and overdue.
- Plan cards replace Plan mode: Lino AI writes its plan as a Card you can read, tick and edit, and ticks off its own steps as it works.
- Dates and people are chips everywhere: in Cards, Tables, properties and the AI panel. Lino AI reads and writes them too.
- Lino AI can look up your tasks and calendar events. Each can be turned off in Capabilities.
- Import memory from another AI app: paste what it knows about you, and Lino shows each step, tidies first to make room, and keeps up to 80 items. What you paste is not stored.
- Tables can span two or three bento cells.
- Drag a connection out from the midpoint of any object's edge.
- Auto mode reviews a command that would leave the sandbox before asking you, and Setup drafts what the review should know about your projects.
- Settings, reorganized: a new Account page, a Devices list, an Import page, Web access and Memory settings, and a clearer Subscription page.
Improved
- Lino AI's changes land as it works: new Cards, Inbox items and connections appear right away, while edits to your own content wait for Apply. One Inbox batch per turn.
- Undo a whole turn or a single change from the review card. Applying again after an undo brings back the same objects.
- Lino AI can edit a Card you have open without losing what you're typing or moving your cursor.
- Reload during a reply and the conversation picks up where it was, including questions and changes waiting for you.
- Files tab: breadcrumb paths, Back and Forward, and every canvas-bound folder listed. A path:line link opens the file at that line.
- Every menu offers the same actions for an object, a file or a folder: Open in Right Panel, Copy path, Show in Finder, and more.
- Sort and Recent follow when you last opened something.
- Hover previews show each object as its bento tile.
- ⌘A selects everything on the canvas, including Sketches, Sparks, Tables and dividers.
- Confirm dialogs say exactly what they'll do; a delete you can undo tells you ⌘Z instead of asking.
- Tidier dropdowns, modals and the right panel's search field; calendar colours hold up in dark mode.

- Adding an alias no longer strips bold and links from a Card's first line.
- Pasting a line that holds only a date or person chip makes the chip, not the raw text.

- Quote chips follow their highlight, and list highlights no longer spill over.
- Closing a table cell editor without changes no longer saves it; wrapped tables are measured at their real height.
- A Card with an empty body no longer crashes when you open it.
- A Card that mentions something hidden from AI no longer makes Lino AI's changes fail to apply.
- Undo while a canvas is filtered, preview sizes, and nested dropdowns behave correctly.

- Every Canvas has somewhere to work: with no folder bound, Lino AI runs commands and saves files in the Canvas's own scratch folder, without asking. Bind a folder for anything you want to keep
- Websites are asked about by name: a command connecting somewhere new asks "Allow www.youtube.com?" once, for every chat until Lino quits. Settings › Permissions now lists your command rules and allowed websites together
- Installing a skill from a link is one download you approve, and the skill arrives exactly as published
- Bento: set the order of object types per Canvas, and Canvases inside a Canvas show as real tiles in their own row

- Clearer approval cards: a change shows only the lines that changed, a skill shows its name and description, and the button says Allow
- Questions from Lino AI can be folded away with the arrow in their corner, so you can scroll back through the chat before answering
- When a command is stopped at one of your folders (say, saving into Downloads), you're asked for that folder, and once you allow it, the command runs again
- When something isn't done, the task row says why: outside its folders, a protected file, you declined, or it needs you
- Auto Concept: changing an alias or Variable outside the heading now updates the Card's first line
- npm, pip, uv and similar tools keep their caches in Lino's cache folder, so installs work without opening your own folders
- Recent no longer keeps slots for archived Canvases
- The conflict dialog puts "Why this?" beside the delete button, now called "Delete This Card"

- Lino 1.0 is our first stable release. It collects two months of work since v0.2.29 — a new data engine underneath, a rebuilt AI agent, and a pass over nearly every surface on the canvas.
- 🗄️ Your data lives on your Mac
- A local database is now the source of truth; cloud sync is a separate engine that runs beside it. Lino works fully offline and catches up when you reconnect.
- Edits made on two devices no longer overwrite each other — the losing side is kept as a conflict version you can restore.
- Card version history shows what changed (including what the AI changed), restores without a confirm dialog, and survives deleting the card.
- Deleted items go to a Deleted view in the Gallery, with restore-by-day and a full export of everything you own.
- ↩️ Undo that covers the whole canvas
- One global ⌘Z stack for cards, images, sketches, connections, moves between canvases and Concept changes. Each press undoes one meaningful step.
- AI changes are undone from their proposal card, not mixed into your ⌘Z history.
- 🤖 A rebuilt AI agent
- New agent core: steer a running reply, queue follow-ups, stop without losing work, and keep going after a refresh or dropped connection.
- Subagents run in the background; open the background task panel to watch every step, answer their questions, or resume one that failed.
- Plan mode, per-folder file access with Manual / Auto permission levels, and background shell commands.
- The agent reads PDFs (including scanned ones), web pages and any attachment, searches the web, and creates Diagrams, Links and Tables.
- Every edit arrives as a proposal you can review row by row, revise in plain language, or undo later.
- Skills can be pinned to stay active across sessions, canvases and restarts.
- The composer is a real editor: /commands, @file and @card mentions, and chips that stay chips after you send.
- ✨ Sparks
- Sparks are small interactive pages the agent builds for you. Each gets its own drawn glyph and cover, runtime errors come back with a one-click fix, and template Sparks ship ready to open.
- 🔗 References and tables
- One way to reference anything — card, image, table, Spark, link, canvas — with the same chip and toolbar everywhere, and lino:// links that open objects from outside the app.
- Tables gain Artifact and Relation columns, sub-tables, references inside cells, and Markdown / CSV export.
- Connections can carry labels, several edges between the same two objects, and a draft step before they're created.
- 🎨 Canvas and editing
- Images and Sketches are edited in place on the canvas; image licence and author are always editable.
- Canvas navigator: manual ordering, remembered folds, and two-finger swipe between Spaces.
- Every object snaps to an 8px grid; the Inbox accepts Tables and Sparks; the Gallery's All tab gets an Unused filter and bulk delete — and no longer freezes the app.
- Consistent glass styling across panels, toolbars and menus, with many dark-mode fixes.
